Protection for whistleblowers

All workers are protected by the OSH Act, so that employers cannot retaliate against workers who report them to OSHA. If any retaliation occurs, such as firing the employee, reducing pay, or discriminating in any way, the worker has 30 days to report the employer to OSHA.
